Office Manager / Executive Assistant

Beckie is the Executive Assistant for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Office Manager at Elevate Ventures. Her scope of work includes assisting the CEO and senior executives on a continuous basis to conserve the President’s time so she/he can proactively plan and realize the mission and vison of the organization, while at the same time identifying ways to sharpen and continuously improve the organization’s focus and operations. Beckie’s professional career started in the hospitality industry which eventually segued into fund raising. Through her experiences at various public, private, and non-profit organizations she refined her capacity building skills and is excited to put them into action. In 2020 she graduated with a degree in Design Thinking and plans to apply those principles to help Elevate Ventures achieve its mission.

  • What is the one critical thing you want people to know about you? Though many people believe ‘creativity’ and ‘structure’ are like oil and water, I believe they can complement each other, and you can be highly creative within structure.
  • What is your core competency and how do you think it impacts your work at Elevate? As we continue to stimulate economic development by investing in Indiana’s entrepreneurs, the work I do has the potential to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. We strive to be the best at what we do!
