Job Description

As an Account Executive at Codelicious, you’ll nurture new and existing client relationships, focusing on providing computer science curriculum for their schools. You’ll serve as a partner to schools and districts, meeting with administrators to discover their needs and educate them on Codelicious’s solutions. In this role, you will build and nurture a sustained pipeline of mid to large sized school districts, requiring adept sales calling and email writing skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a Codelicious expert — you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of our curriculum, our customers, and our market

 

  • Focus on outbound sales by connecting with a high number of school administrators to discover their needs and conduct product demos

 

  • Manage — and expertly organize — new sales outreach, product demos and open opportunity nurturing to build and maintain your book of business.

 

  • Manage a territory of mid to large district business from prospecting to closed contract

 

  • Perform market research to gather new leads and learn more about existing prospects

 

  • Provide event support including virtual events, travel & entertainment as needed

 

  • Document all activity in Hubspot CRM

 

  • Jump-in head first, work hard, fail fast (we’re all learning here!), and have some fun doing it

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in outbound B2B sales including discovery calls and product demos

 

  • Experience asking often difficult qualifying questions in order to gain customer commitments

 

  • Experience in closing complex sales

 

  • Demonstrated success hitting sales goals (We want to hear your success stories!)

 

  • Skilled at developing rapport and business relationships

 

  • Fluency in sales-related technology tools such as Hubspot, Zoom & the Google Suite

 

  • Ability to think critically and find solutions quickly (especially while navigating live conversations)

 

  • A drive to always be learning new things and an openness to learn from your peers, customers, and prospects

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

  • Strong time management, planning and organization skills (nothing falls through the cracks with you!)

 

  • Impeccable attention to detail
