Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the first line of communication between Codelicious and our prospective customers. Through a combination of phone calls and emails, you’ll connect with administrators and educators across the country who are looking to bring computer science into the school day. You’ll join our sales team to contribute to our continued company growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Connect with a high number of educators and administrators (primarily on the phone and via email) to discover their needs and schedule product demos

 

  • Perform market research to gather new leads and learn more about existing prospects

 

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and test new sales cadences and strategies

 

  • Document all activity in Hubspot CRM

 

  • Jump-in head first, work hard, fail fast (we’re all learning here!), and have some fun doing it

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of professional sales experience (including sales calling)

 

  • Demonstrated success achieving sales metrics

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

  • Strong time management, planning and organization skills

 

  • Desire to meet (and exceed!) goals

 

  • The ability to think on your feet during conversations with prospects and customers

 

  • Propensity to be inquisitive, flexible, and persistent
