BIO OF BOB RODENBECK

With a background in the aerospace, security, plumbing and medical industries, Bob Rodenbeck brings a diverse set of skills in engineering, product marketing, innovation, and intellectual property to his leadership role as Senior Director of the Innovation Network at the Delta Faucet Company. Throughout Bob’s 30+ year career, he has helped mature companies grow and reinvigorate product categories through the application of innovation methodologies and introduction of new technologies. This includes the creation of new organizational capabilities such as ethnographic research, long-range visioning, electronic engineering and the spinout / licensing of new technology.

Bob has over 17 years of experience driving innovation for the Delta Faucet company and is responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary R&D team tasked with developing breakthrough products at the convergence of trends, unmet consumer needs and technology. A number of Delta’s groundbreaking products, including its touch-activated and hands-free kitchen and bath innovations are a direct result of his leadership.

His work has led to multiple awards for Delta® and Brizo® brand products, including several Stevie Awards, multiple Indiana Innovation Awards, an MVP award from Building Products magazine and an Edison™ award, which recognizes the leading talent in innovation. Bob was formerly a Chair of the Indiana Innovation Awards and is an active member within the Indianapolis innovation community. He holds a master’s degree in management and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.

Bob and his wife Dianne will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year and have a daughter (Sarah) who is a recent Purdue graduate. Bob’s hobbies & interests include wood working, hiking, biking, gardening, and golf.
