Sara Omohundro

Sara is a Principal at Elevate Ventures. She is responsible for investment activities, including managing the due diligence process, syndicating deals, and acting as Chair of the Investment Committee, among other responsibilities. Before joining Elevate, Sara worked at the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS), where she allocated capital across private asset classes and completed due diligence on fund investments. She is also the Founder and President of the Women Investors Network (WIN), a local networking group for women in the investment industry. 

Sara holds a Bachelor of Science from Butler University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received Highest Honors in Economics and Finance. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Master of Science in Economics from Purdue University. In 2022, Sara was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “20 in their Twenties” list. Outside of work, Sara enjoys riding and showing horses. She also serves as Chair of the Board for a nonprofit called Take The Reins.
