Director of Engagement | EQ Practitioner
As Director of Engagement and EQ Practitioner at Elevate, Andie will be responsible for ongoing support and cultivation of the startup ecosystem and ensuring all stakeholders have a front door to learn more about Elevate, our events, and programs and how they can help to make Indiana the Innovation Capital of the World.
Andie is a scientifically trained Emotional Intelligence Practitioner. She’s coached hundreds of people on topics such as coping with stress and overcoming limiting beliefs and replacing those feelings with ones of peace and accomplishment. Aside from her practice, Tidewater Coaching, Andie also develops entrepreneurship curriculum for RISE; coaches RISE facilitators, is a Build Institute entrepreneurship training facilitator through the City of Fort Wayne and is on the Global Entrepreneurship Committee for the US Department of State.
She is a 2020 Indiana Commission for Women Torchbearer Award winner for creating a network of nearly 700 women entrepreneurs in Northeast Indiana. She is on the Steering Committee and Economic Security Sub-Committee for the Women’s Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and the Community Advisory Committee for the Garatoni School of Entrepreneurship at Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne & Warsaw.
- What is the most important thing you do for Elevate Ventures’ clients/constituents? Developing a resource-rich network for high-growth entrepreneurs in Northeast Indiana.
- What is your core competency and how do you think it impacts your work at Elevate? Empathy – it’s my superpower that allows me to meaningfully connect with Elevate clients and partners.
- Any “did you know?” random facts about yourself to share? I’ve just complete my Masters of Positive Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University, summa cum laude.
