Kinetic: relating to or resulting from motion. In physics, it is defined by the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its stated velocity.
On August 11-12, 2021, Elevate Ventures will host Kinetic, our fourth annual portfolio conference. Designed to fuel the best of Indiana high growth, Kinetic is an opportunity for startups, investors, and statewide regional stakeholders to gather and share ideas to lift and challenge entrepreneurs.
It’s no secret that Indiana has an extraordinary opportunity to make significant strides in our innovative and entrepreneurial efforts. As we look into the next decade, it’s crucial for our state to not only build upon our strengths but to embrace the areas and industries Indiana can truly influence and lead.
With that in mind, we are excited to announce that Byron Reese will be joining us as our keynote speaker at Kinetic 2021! An accomplished futurist, technologist, and author, Reese has 25 years of experience as a successful tech entrepreneur with multiple IPOs and successful exits. Reese has spoken around the world with keynotes and appearances including SXSW, TEDx Austin, and Google. Reese is currently the CEO of JJ Kent, a venture-backed technology company using proprietary AI tools to create new products that delight consumers.
“We are looking forward to hearing Byron’s insights on the future of technology and specifically how that technology may impact Indiana,” said Chris LaMothe, CEO of Elevate Ventures. “His keynote will challenge us as a state to build upon our strengths to move toward a deliberate and focused vision that allows us to leapfrog other states in our innovative and entrepreneurial efforts.”
Reese’s keynote will focus on embracing technology while using it to enhance our abilities and productivity. Reese will discuss past and current advancements that have made a significant global impact and share his insights on the future of technology, empowering attendees to remain focused on innovative ways to give Indiana a competitive edge over other states.
“Indiana has seen tremendous growth over the past few decades, particularly in the technology sector,” said Reese. “I’m excited to address not only where Indiana has come from – but also where Indiana is going – and by doing so, hope to encourage attendees to be proactive in helping take innovation to the next level.”
