TechPoint’s AI Innovation Network Brings Finance and AI Leaders Together at Elevate Ventures
- Blog,
Last night, we had the pleasure of co-hosting one of the most timely conversations happening in tech and finance: how AI is reshaping the way we work.
As part of TechPoint’s AI Innovation Network series, the event brought together a packed room of founders, investors, finance professionals, and technologists for an evening focused on real-world applications of AI in the financial sector. TechPoint led the programming and curated a dynamic lineup of speakers. We supported the event with logistics and execution and welcomed guests into Elevate Ventures’ innovation space.
The conversation was thoughtful, practical, and culminated in a live Q&A moderated by Matt Tyner, Managing Partner at Elevate Ventures.
Speakers Who Brought AI Down to Earth
The evening featured three experts with very different backgrounds, all offering clear perspectives on what’s happening now with AI—and what’s next:
-
Dipen Metha, COO of Invst and founder of Super Amplify, set the tone with a big-picture look at how AI agents are beginning to replace traditional labor in high-skill sectors. Drawing on his background as a former trader and AI entrepreneur, he explained how we’re entering an “abundance era” where AI creates outcomes, not just tools.
-
Adam Hilgenkamp from Salesforce shared how their finance organization is rolling out AI-powered tools to improve forecasting, streamline procurement, and enable faster decision-making. His key takeaway: technology alone isn’t enough. Success depends on culture, governance, and helping people understand how to use these tools well.
-
James Paden, Chief Product Officer at Parker Technology, showed the room just how approachable AI can be. From using ChatGPT to fix messy spreadsheets to writing SQL queries and spotting anomalies in reports, he offered practical advice for anyone looking to get started—no engineering degree required.
Why This Matters
This wasn’t just a conversation about the future. It was about what’s already possible, right now. Whether you’re automating reporting, building agent-based workflows, or just trying to save time on repetitive tasks, AI has something to offer.
We’re proud to support TechPoint’s work with the AI Innovation Network. Events like this play a critical role in helping Indiana’s business and tech communities explore new tools, share lessons learned, and build what’s next—together.
Thanks again to TechPoint, the CFA Society of Indianapolis, and everyone who joined us for a standout night at The Greenhouse.
