3BG Supply Relocating to The Landing

FORT WAYNE – Fort Wayne-based technology and distribution business 3BG Supply Co. will soon move to the city’s newest attraction, The Landing on Columbia Street. 3BG, short for 3 Bald Guys, previously announced it secured a multi-million dollar investment led by Plymouth Group Partners and a co-investment from Elevate Ventures in Indianapolis.

“As a venture backed, high-growth technology company it was only natural that we wanted to create a working environment that’s conducive for attracting top talent. We feel locating the business within the newly redeveloped Landing district affords us that opportunity,” said co-founder Alex Smith.

The company currently employs about 30 professionals, but has plans to expand its workforce to 70 or more in the next few years. Plans also include developing the company’s rooftop into an indoor/outdoor work space.

Retail businesses are planned for the ground level of The Landing, including a brewery and Utopian Coffee. Cincinnati-based The Model Group, the city of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Redevelopment Trust and other partners are near completion of the $34 million project
