Elevate Ventures Names Erica Schweyer Senior Director of Brand Development and Strategic Initiatives

INDIANAPOLIS, IND., – Elevate Ventures, a private venture development organization serving Indiana, promoted Erica Schweyer to Senior Director of Brand Development and Strategic Initiatives.

Schweyer will be responsible for communications, marketing and brand strategy, events, statewide partnership relations and execution and other special projects.

“Erica has earned this promotion through her exceptional work ethic, always accepting more responsibilities and duties and executing consistently in a manner that brings quality to all we do,” said Elevate Ventures CEO Chris LaMothe.

Schweyer began her career with Elevate Ventures in 2014 serving as administrative support to the statewide Entrepreneurs-in-Residence. From there, she joined the investment team as a Senior Analyst working with prospective companies to help them through the Elevate investment process.

Earlier this year, she was promoted to Senior Director of Events and Special Projects to help steward portfolio company relationships while also providing access to knowledge experts throughout the state. Through her various roles, she executed more than three dozen statewide events for Elevate Ventures portfolio companies and partners.

“There have been many exciting developments happening at Elevate Ventures and I’m thrilled to be a part of the continued momentum,” said Schweyer. “This new role gives me the opportunity to work more closely with our statewide partners and portfolio companies.”

Schweyer begins her new role immediately.
