EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- According to Quarion Technology every year more than 1400 people are injured from forklift-related accidents.
The company has been nominated for the best product innovation award form the material handling institute for technology.
Quarion has developed technology to track forklifts and potentially stop them before an accident.
Quarion Technology’s CEO Aric Pryor says “we got selected out of 155 applicants as one of the top four to be the recipient of this 2020 innovation award.”
The award ceremony will be held next month in Atlanta. It is Quarion Technology’s first nomination since the company was founded in 2015.
